Unbound and Belonging' is an artist-led, site-specific project designed to combat loneliness during the dark, cold winter months. Working through creative collaboration with community members in Ely and Caerau and the Your Space- social prescribing network, ACE and Dusty Forge groups. Arts Council of Wales of funded project.

The project explores themes of place, nature, and belonging. Participants engaged in co-creative workshops inspired by the local heritage and landscape, including Ely’s ancient forest and Hillfort.

Using accessible methods such as walking, printmaking, and unbound books, a new body of experimental enamel work on copper —materials chosen for their durability and sustainability. Each artwork acts as a personal talisman or keepsake. We celebrated in a group exhibition at the local Heritage Centre. The intention is that the Unbound & Belonging project will have further editions- traveling to other communities, celebrating lived experience, cultural identity, and nature through mindful, inclusive creative practice.
