I am an artist working with contemporary enamel. Exploring texture, surface, and the quiet alchemy of the kiln. My process is intuitive and experimental, building layers that reveal miniature landscapes of memory and place.
Drawn to nature and the passage of time, I often begin with walking, collecting found objects, noticing fleeting shadows, horizon lines, and reflections. These moments become visual notes, later transformed through mark making, vitreous enamel and print.
For me, enamel has a meditative quality — a reflective space.
My art practice moves fluidly between materials & process. Playful experimentation and mindful photographic observation are central to my work. An exploration between material expression and sense of place.
With a background in Textile & Surface Pattern Design & MA in Print, rhythm in pattern and layering carries through my work. Motifs echo natural forms and the subtle nuances of location.
Alongside my studio practice, I lead creative workshops focused on wellbeing and mindfulness. Drawing on my experience as a wellbeing practitioner in education, I believe deeply in the restorative potential of creativity — its ability to slow us down, foster reflection, and nurture connection.
